Sublime electroclash duo Fischerspooner are probably more notable for their performances that put contemporary dance at the forefront. Formed in NYC in 1998 the group grew to include over 20 performers, mainly dancers and some guest vocalists.'Emerge' released as a single in 2002 and originally on the album '#1' (aka 'best album ever') in 2001. I like the long build up and kicking drum beat. The main riff is also quite catchy too.

There are a couple of videos I could find for this track but this one seems the most modern in terms of filming techniques and still leaves the original track fairly unchanged. I dont know if it's the original video, but true to Fischerspooner, it does get really weird in the middle.
